A jury has been sworn in ahead of the trial of a man accused of a serious assault at an Ipswich petrol station.

Gladstone Allen, of Muntjac Gardens in Stowmarket, appeared before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday.

The 32-year-old has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on Stephen Greaves and actual bodily harm on Aaron Tomlinson, with both alleged offences happening at the BP garage in Norwich Road on August 13 last year.

Allen has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The trial will continue tomorrow.
