A new three-bedroom home could soon be coming to Bramford Road in Ipswich, according to new proposals.

Plans have been submitted to Ipswich Borough Council, which suggest building a three-bedroom home behind 601 Bramford Road, in the Whitehouse area of Ipswich.

According to the application form, the land used to be the rear garden of number 601, but has not been used as a garden since December 2020.

If accepted by the local authority's planning department, the new home would be spread across three storeys.

On the ground floor, there would be a combined kitchen, living and dining area and a downstairs toilet, documents submitted alongside the planning application say.

Two of the three bedrooms would be located on the first floor, as would a bathroom.

Another bathroom and the final bedroom would be on the second floor.

Ipswich Borough Council sets an automatic eight-week target on all applications it receives, and has given this application a decision date of March 18.
