The Wetherspoon in Ipswich will is closed while a £100,000 refurbishment is carried out.
The pub giant is investing the money into The Cricketers as much needed work is carried out.
While the Crown Street pub is closed, designers will be delivering a brand new back bar layout.
There will also be new fridges, new app stations, 13 new T-bars, new bar flooring and decoration.
A spokesman for Wetherspoon said improvements to dispense will also be carried out during the works.
The spokesman was not able to confirm when the boozer will reopen.
