Artisan Markets are set to return once again this year to an Ipswich park and will be open for longer after the success of the 2023 events.

Christchurch Park will be the host of the artisan markets, which will return on March 10, and will now be running twice per month, every second and fourth Sunday from 9.30am to 3pm.

The markets were popular last year, attracting thousands of people to shop from local makers, bakers, crafters, farmers, food producers and small businesses.

A variety of items can be bought from the stalls, including hand-crafted jewellery, soaps, crystals, metalwork, and a variety of food produced by Suffolk farms, bakeries and producers including olives, sausages, fudge and honey.

Organiser Darren Perry from Prestige County Events said: "Following the great feedback we received last year we are looking forward to returning to Christchurch Park with our wonderful selection of stallholders twice a month, with an extended opening time to 3pm, at the request of stall holders and public.

"We have lots of regular traders attending plus many others on rotation so there will always be something new to see, smell, sample and buy.

"There is a really great atmosphere at the market, our stallholders love the location and visitors return time after time so we can’t wait to be back."

A seating area is available too at the market, which is located along the main pathway between the Round Pond and the Fonnereau Road entrance to Christchurch Park, near the mansion.
