However, the chain has not revealed where its latest restaurant will be in Ipswich.

Managing director Omair Ali said: "This is what 2024 is looking like for Afrikana.

"With more than 50 locations to open, here's a snipper of the exciting locations we have opening this year – Coventry, Hayes, Victoria Road Glasgow, Kingston, Hounslow, Illford, Southampton, Oxford, Reading and Ipswich.

"Let's make 2024 a year filled with delicious memories."

Afrikana currently has 14 locations across the UK – with the most recent restaurant opening at London's O2 centre in October last year.

The business plans to open a total of 50 more restaurants across the country.

Its menu includes a range of dishes including chicken, buns, fries, chilli and goat.
