There were long delays on the A14 after a two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were at the scene of the crash involving a lorry and a car in the westbound carriageway near Ipswich on Monday afternoon.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said that two appliances were sent to the scene after reports someone was trapped in a vehicle.
They were later stood down.
The extent of any injuries is not yet known.
Suffolk police has been approached for a comment.
The road was clear a short while later.
