A takeaway serving mac and cheese has officially launched at a popular seaside foodie venue.

Say Cheese has opened at Beach Street in Felixstowe after months of anticipation from cheese lovers across Suffolk.

The cheese-themed restaurant will serve mac and cheese, while other dishes such as raclette, which is melted cheese served with potatoes, will also be available to purchase.

Toppings are available to elevate the servings of mac and cheese, including bacon, blue cheese, marmite, hot dogs, spinach, crispy onions, and a variety of hot sauces.

Vegan options are also available.

The newest Beach Street business was announced in December 2023 by Sarah Hiorns, the owner of the takeaway, on Instagram.

"I love mac and cheese - I talk about it a lot," said Ms Hiorns.

"It is one of these things that you can make at home. It is okay but you can have one out that makes it amazing."

The shop opened its doors to its first customers at 12pm on Wednesday, and will be open weekly from Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm until 8pm.
