There are still two days left to enter the people you admire for a glitzy county award.

We have been sharing the news with you that the Stars of Suffolk Awards are coming to our county soon.

These are awards that aim to shine a light on all the people quietly doing good in our county, working tirelessly to make Suffolk the wonderful place it is.

We know that Ipswich in particular has more than its fair share of good Samaritans, and we are determined that you should all be recognised for your efforts.

Do you know someone who has devoted themselves to a cause close to their hearts? Or perhaps someone who spends hours of their time volunteering?

The deadline to apply is midnight on Sunday, and it is as simple as going www.starsofsuffolk.co.uk and filling out the short form.

We have already told you about the eight categories, which you can read about in more detail online.

There is also one more award up for grabs, the Overall Star of Suffolk and Waveney. This is a non-entry award and is chosen by the judges from the category winners. This year, the award is kindly sponsored by MSC.
