Theatre in the Forest is marking its 25th anniversary with a production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Sutton Hoo.

The event brings together Joanna Carrick’s directorial prowess, past theatre stars, and the creativity of Olivier Award-winning Nick Barnes Puppets as seen in Life of Pi.

Red Rose Chain's artistic director Joanna Carrick, said: “We are so excited about creating the ultimate A Midsummer Night’s Dream for our 25th anniversary.

"We have a perfect partnership with the wonderful National Trust team at Sutton Hoo and we are really looking forward to working with them again this summer.

"Each performance has been utterly magical from the sell-out Macbeth to The Winter’s Tale last year.

"It’s the perfect way to spend a summer’s evening, watching theatre under the stars.

“The Sutton Hoo landscape will be staying open late so you can arrive early and explore the scenery before the show starts.

"The shop will also be open pre-show in case you need to stock up on blankets and sweets, plus the café will be open before the show and during the interval serving hot and cold food and drink.
