The A14 has reopened almost 12 hours after a lorry crashed into a ditch.

Emergency services were called to the collision, between junction 51 near Needham Market and junction 52 at Claydon, at about 11.50pm on Thursday.

A lorry left the carriageway and crashed into a ditch, according to National Highways.

The eastbound carriageway was closed, but reopened at about 10.20am on Friday.

The lorry driver was injured, although they are not thought to be serious.
