DIY and trade retailer Toolstation has opened a new store on Ipswich's Commercial Road today (Monday, February 12).

The tools and building supplies chain has created seven new jobs with its latest expansion.

Store manager Josh Vincent said they were delighted to be opening the chain's second new Ipswich store.

Ipswich Star:

"With the success of our first store, the opening of our second means we’ll be able to further support local tradespeople, DIYers and homebuilders," he said.

"Not only do we provide the tools, but the team are always happy to help where possible, that’s why the store team’s expert knowledgeable and friendly demeanour is key in seeing happy customers every time they visit."

The store stocks leading brands including Milwaukee, Makita, Wessex, Kärcher and Leyland.

The store - located at the Retail Park, Unit 9 - will be open 7am to 7pm weekdays, 7am to 6pm Saturdays and 9am to 4pm Sundays.
