One of the biggest soft-rock bands has announced a UK tour - with one night in Ipswich.

The Pretenders has been releasing music and performing for crowds for 45 years, and 2024 will be no exception.

The band's twelfth studio album Relentless was released at the end of 2023, their "highest-charting record in 23 years and 14th UK Top 40 release," according to production firm DawBell.

The Ipswich Regent Theatre has announced that the band, led by Chrissie Hynde, will take to the stage in the Suffolk town on Saturday, October 26, just two days before the tour draws to a close.

The tour was originally scheduled for February and March 2024, but Hynde has been suffering from a knee injury and had to postpone.
