Suffolk wedding venues are celebrating after being named one of the best in the UK. 

Hintlesham Golf Club, Hintlesham Hall Hotel, Lanwades Hall in Newmarket and Swan Tipis in Bury St Edmunds were named among the best places to have a wedding in the country. 

The awards are based on reviews left by newlyweds over the past year. 

All venues received five-star ratings – with Hintlesham Hall receiving the highest number of good reviews with 160. 

Hintlesham Hall Hotel was also recently named as one of the best hotels in the country. 

Nestled within 150 acres of stunning Suffolk countryside, Hintlesham Golf Club offers picturesque scenery in almost every direction.

Swan Tipis is based at the thatched Swan Inn in the village of Lawshall, just South of Bury St Edmunds. 

The tipis provide a unique and stunning setting with uninterrupted views over unspoilt countryside. 

Lanwades Hall is set in 12 acres of countryside with a sweeping tree-lined driveway half a mile long.
