“The 100-day countdown to the Suffolk Show is one of the most exciting times of the year for us – the time to start crossing the days off our calendars in preparation for the county’s biggest celebration," said John.

“We’re incredibly proud of Suffolk’s agricultural heritage in providing food for the nation, and even prouder to be able to celebrate it with an impressive level of variety that the show is famous for.

"To mark our 100-day countdown we’re pleased to offer a special ‘buy 1 get 1 half price’ deal on advance tickets, while under 15s enjoy free admission once again, free parking too, and an impressive array of activities and displays for families to enjoy for free throughout the whole day.

“It’s an honour to return as show director this year with the incredible support and expertise of the wider Suffolk Show team. As we begin counting down to May 29 and 30, we are working full steam ahead to give the county and its visitors the Show it deserves, we cannot wait to see you all there.”

The show is organised by farm charity the Suffolk Agricultural Association (SAA) which delivers a wide range of educational programmes throughout the year.
