There were delays on the A12 heading to Ipswich after a lorry broke down during rush hour traffic.
Police were called to the incident just before 8.30am.
A spokesman said the lorry had broken down on a slip road at Copdock Interchange which connects the A12 and A14.
The lorry was recovered just before 10am.
Traffic and delays in the area have cleared.
