An Ipswich woman has been ordered to pay out more than £1,000 by magistrates after failing to tell police the identity of a driver.
Jurate Miskiniene, of Yew Court in the Suffolk town, appeared before Willesden Magistrates' Court in north-west London in late January.
She was charged with failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver when required.
This was in relation to an incident at Marlowe House, a Metropolitan Police station in the London Borough of Bexley, on October 19 last year.
The car in question was a Mazda 3, according to a court listing.
Miskiniene's case was dealt with through the single justice procedure, which typically deals with more minor summary offences that are not heard before a crown court.
The defendant was ordered by magistrates to pay a fine of £660 in the hearing.
She was also told to pay a victim surcharge of £264, as well as costs of £100 – making a total of £1,024.
Miskiniene's driving licence was also endorsed with three points.
