A man was taken to hospital after he was injured in an accident which saw the air ambulance called.
People living in Felixstowe spotted a helicopter circling the seaside town, before it eventually landed in Kendal Green, off Rydal Avenue, on Sunday morning.
It is understood they were attending reports of a man who was injured in an incident with a vehicle.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "One ambulance, one ambulance officer vehicle and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Thirlmere Court, Felixstowe after reports of a man injured in an incident with a vehicle.
"One man was transported by road ambulance to Ipswich hospital for further assessment and care.”
