A busy road leading off the A14 will be closed overnights for urgent works to be carried out.
Bramford Road near Ipswich will be shut from 8pm to 5am from March 25 to 29.
While the road is closed Suffolk County Council will be carrying out essential works including surface dressing prep.
A signed diversion route will be in place.
It comes as a road in Whitton near Ipswich will also be closed for emergency works.
Whitton Church Lane is shut near Ormiston Endeavour Academy between 8am and 4pm until Friday, March 29.
