An Ipswich man accused of rape will remain in custody until his case is heard before the crown court in April.
Trevor Maiden, 55, has been charged with six counts, three of which are rape, along with kidnapping, impersonating a police constable and intentional strangulation.
The charges are in connection to incidents between November 1 and November 7 2023.
On Tuesday, March 12, Maiden appeared before the Suffolk Magistrates' Court and pleaded not guilty to these charges.
The case was sent to the Ipswich Crown Court, where the defendant is set to appear on April 9.
There is no bail application at the moment, but the defendant told the court he will lodge one soon.
Until the hearing in April, the 55-year-old is set to stay in custody.
