There were delays at an A14 roundabout on the outskirts of Ipswich after a two-vehicle crash.
Officers were called to the collision at the Seven Hills Interchange at about 4.50pm on Tuesday,
A spokesman for Suffolk police said minor injuries were reported.
An eyewitness said at least three police cars were in attendance.
The AA Traffic Map showed there was still heavy traffic in the area.
