Two men have been charged for allegedly running a drug line into Suffolk.
Officers from Suffolk police stopped a vehicle being driven in Ipswich on suspected cloned plates on Friday, March 8.
A claw hammer, £2,000 in cash and mobile phones were found inside a suspected stolen Hyundai car.
Two men were arrested and, following a joint investigation between Suffolk police and the Metropolitan police, it was established they were linked to the supply of class A drugs from London to Suffolk.

Ugur Unek, 32 and of Leylands Avenue, Enfield, in London, was charged with the following offences.

Being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class A (crack cocaine)

Being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class A (heroin)

Handling stolen goods (Hyundai)

Fraudulent use of a vehicle registration mark on 08/03/2024.

Possessing criminal property on 08/03/2024.

Tapiwa Mhlanga, 32, of Fairfax Road, was charged with the following offences:

Being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class A (crack cocaine)

Being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class A (heroin)

Driving whilst disqualified on 08/03/2024.

Using a motor vehicle without insurance on 08/03/2024.

Having an offensive weapon in a public place (screwdriver)
