Retirement homes built on the former offices and print works for the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star have scooped a top industry award.

Developer McCarthy Stone has been awarded a Five Star customer satisfaction rating by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for Thomas Wolsey Place in Lower Brook Street, Ipswich.

The scheme received a 100% customer  satisfaction score from its homeowners in an independent survey by the HBF.

To receive the top Five Star rating, more than 90% of customers need to recommend a company to a friend.
