A tabby cat whose owner sadly passed away and a shy older feline are among the adorable pets looking for a new home in Suffolk.

The RSPCA centre in Martlesham have shared details of five cats on the look out for their forever home.

Elsa

Ipswich Star:

"She enjoys a sit on and loves to receive as much fuss as she can get her paws on. Her
favourite past time consists of dozing on a nice soft blanket in a nice warm spot.
Elsa may also be hard of hearing which doesn't seem to get her down but does
mean she get less disturbed sleep!"

Bella

Ipswich Star:

"Bella is an independent older lady who enjoys her own space as well as her human comforts. Her favourite thing to do is to find the softest blanket to take her cat naps on and her meal times!"

Coleen

Ipswich Star:
"Colleen is a sweet natured and affectionate girl who enjoys the company of her human companions. Colleen may potentially be partially deaf but this doesn't stop her living her best life! With all of the wonderful care you give her, Colleen will return the favour with so much love, affection and companionship!"

Bramble

Ipswich Star: Bramble came into care after being found as a stray. This senior lad loves attention and company

"Bramble came into our care after being found as a stray. This senior lad loves attention and company from his human companions and will batt your leg for fuss if he is ignored! Bramble has so much quirky character to him and would make a great companion in someone's home."

Pebbles

Ipswich Star:

"Pebbles came into the centre after welfare concerns in the previous home.  Pebbles can be quite standoffish when she feels uncomfortable or unsafe but she is slowing showing us signs that she wants to be our friend! Can Pebbles be your new best friend?"
