A huge sinkhole in Ipswich will remain fenced off until the end of the month, it has been confirmed.
Suffolk Highways has scheduled to carry out investigation work along High Street near Ipswich Museum on April 20.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Highways said: "It is hoped that we can determine the cause of the defect once the road has been excavated to replace the gully."
The large defect was first spotted in the town on March 13.
A small section of the road was cordoned off with barriers since it was first reported to Suffolk Highways.
