A much-loved Chinese restaurant in Ipswich has been announced as a finalist for a major national award.
Trongs, in St Nicholas Street, is in the running to be named Chinese Restaurant of the Year at the English Restaurant Awards 2024, with the ceremony due to take place in Manchester this summer.
It is up against 10 other dining spots dotted across the UK and the overall winner will be decided through public votes.
Trongs is a popular restaurant and is often voted as one of the best places for Chinese food in the town.
In 2022 the restaurant was named as one of the best in Ipswich.
