Road closures are likely to cause disruption for drivers across Suffolk this week. 

With roads due to be shut or diversions in place, here are the routes to avoid on your journey around the county.

Ipswich 

A number of roads will be closed in Ipswich on Monday as Ipswich Town Football Club hold an open top bus parade after gaining promotion to the Premier League

The parade will start on Sir Alf Ramsey Way at midday before ending in Christchurch Park.

After passing by the stadium, the parade will head along Sir Alf Ramsey Way, Portman Road, Handford Road and then onto Civic Drive.

The bus will then turn onto Crown Street and head along Soane Street and up Bolton Lane, before moving onto Westerfield Road and then into Christchurch Park at approximately 1pm.

Haverhill Road, Stradishall 

The main road will be closed from Tuesday to Friday between 7pm and 5am while Suffolk Highways carries out urgent works. 

While the road is closed a 42-mile diversion will be in place along the A134, A1092, A1017 and A143.

Bramford Road, Bramford

The road near the A14 will be closed from 8pm to 5am from May 11 to May 13 while Suffolk Highways work in the area. 

A short diversion route will be in place while the road is closed. 

Ten Tree Road, Acton 

The road which leads through the village near Sudbury will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Thursday. 

While the road is closed a short diversion route will be in place. 

London Road South, Lowestoft 

The road will be closed from Wednesday to Thursday while Anglian Water carries out urgent works in the area. 

While the road is closed a diversion route will be in place.
