A woman from Ipswich has been ordered to pay compensation after stealing items including detergent tablets and advent calendars.
Michaela McLaughlin, of St Georges Court, Ipswich, was charged with three counts of theft from a shop.
The 33-year-old took a box of Fairy detergent tablets and a jar of coffee from Tesco, to the value of £18 on December 28, 2023.
Prior to Christmas, she also stole gift sets to the value of £72 belonging to B&M stores on October 24, 2023, and four advent calendars to the value of £24, also belonging to B&M, on November 7.
All three of the incidents happened at stores in Ipswich.
McLaughlin was ordered to pay compensation back to the shops, including the £18 to Tesco, and £96 to B&M for the advent calendars and gift sets.
