An Ipswich man who has been convicted of a string of sex offences involving three children has been warned he is facing a lengthy jail term.

Before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday (May 10) was 44-year-old David Miller of Hervey Street, Ipswich.

He denied 16 offences including two of rape, two of indecent assault, seven of sexual activity with a child under 13, four of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and one of sexual activity with a child but was convicted by a jury after a trial.

The offences took place between 2002 and 2019.

Judge Nicola Talbot-Hadley warned Miller he was facing a “lengthy" jail term and remanded him in custody until his sentencing hearing on June 20.

She ordered him to sign the sex offenders register.
