A trio of community events at an Ipswich care home has raised vital funds towards a neighbouring charity's mission.
Care home Avocet Court in Ipswich held a series of activities to raise a total of £228 for the charity, ActivLives.
The funds were raised through a variety of events, one of which was organised by receptionist, Chris, a prominent figure at the care home.
Susannah Robirosa, development manager at ActivGardens, part of the ActivLives network, expressed gratitude for the donation, saying: "We're extremely grateful to the team at Avocet Court for thinking of us to benefit from Chris' charity efforts."

The money will be used to buy tools, gloves, compost and seeds to further develop their gardening project and enhance community cohesion.
Praising the collaboration, Ruth, home manager at Avocet Court, said: "We love to get involved with other community groups here at Avocet Court and are grateful for all the help ActivLives has given us in the past.
"We hope the relationship will continue to grow and benefit us all."
