A new Japanese restaurant in Ipswich has applied for an alcohol licence to serve sake wine and other beverages at the premises.
Bushido Sushi and Izakaya, in St Helen's Street, made the application to Ipswich Borough Council for the supply of alcohol.
The application covers every day from 11am to 10.30pm on and off site at the restaurant, which opened for the first time in March.
Plans for a change of use for the Grade II listed building were made to the borough council in October.
Mr Prazeres told this newspaper he was awaiting the alcohol licence to allow the restaurant to serve wine, beer and sake.

The shop was formerly dressmaker store Scissors and Needle.
Bushido will be collaborating with Arlingtons Bar and Restaurant for a Japanese Experience pop-up to launch the restaurant at the Museum Street venue this Friday.
