The police helicopter was called to help with the search of a missing teenage girl in Ipswich.
The helicopter from the National Police Air Service was spotted over the town on Thursday evening.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said officers were called at around 11.30pm to the Whitehouse area of the town to assist with a search of a missing teenage girl.
The spokesman confirmed that the teenager was found safe and well in the early hours of this morning.
