While a bowl of cereal or toast with toppings can be enough in the morning, sometimes you just need something that little bit more.
In Ipswich, there are a lot of restaurants and cafes to choose from to get a late breakfast or brunch.
Here are five of the best in the town.
1. Bonbon

The family-run cafe can be found opposite the Buttermarket shopping centre, serving a range fresh and home baked treats.
It offers a la carte and continental breakfasts and has a large lunch menu to enjoy into the afternoon.

2. Applaud Coffee

Breakfast at Applaud Coffee is served up until 11 and has a range of dishes from bacon butties to seasonal porridge.
It underwent a refurbishment at the start of the year to "brighten up" the cafe.
3. 16 Steakhouse

Although the restaurant is known for its locally-sourced cuts of steak, 16 Steakhouse also has a menu for brunch.
Some of the items on the menu are smashed avocado on toast, eggs benedict and toasted breakfast sandwiches.
4. Cafe Flex

Cafe Flex serves a range of hot food, coffee and healthy smoothies which can be enjoyed in the cafe, Garden Room conservatory or patio area.
Tuck into a full English breakfast, salmon with dill and cream cheese mousse on toast or choose from a variety of eggs hollandaise.

5. Bloom Lounge

Bloom Lounge offers a selection of food inspired by modern Asian cuisine, including the Bloom poke bowl on the brunch menu.
It offers bottomless brunch for two hours of endless drinks such as prosecco, Bucks Fizz or Aperol Spritz.
