A group of walkers will once again be trekking through the night to raise money for charity.

For the fourth consecutive year, Carl Chatfield and his team have set themselves an ambitious goal.

This year, they are raising funds for the Ipswich Sports Club for the Disabled (ISCD), Helping Hands Suffolk, and Ipswich Hospital’s cancer wards.

The team will set off from Cambridge on Friday, June 6, and is expected to arrive at Stone Lodge Community Centre around lunchtime on Saturday, June 7.

Together with the £9,000 raised in 2022 and £15,000 in 2023, this brings the total to £32,500.

If all goes to plan this year, the group hopes to exceed last year's total and raise £10,000.

This will bring their four-year total to more than £40,000 if successful.
