Extra Park and Ride services have been put on this week for Ed Sheeran's homecoming concerts at Portman Road.

First Eastern Counties has confirmed that they have teamed up with Ipswich Town Football Club to run extra services from London Road and Martlesham.

Prices have not changed, with the buses charging just £3 per person for unlimited travel all day.

From both sites, additional buses will be running from 3pm to get into town ahead of gates opening at Portman Road at 4.30.

Last buses from each site will depart at 7.30pm.

The last bus back from Portman Road at the end of the night will be at 12.30am.

First Buses are encouraging fans to get there with plenty of time due to how busy the buses might be, and to wear pink, the colour of Sheeran's upcoming Play album.

As well as extra Park and Ride services, Ipswich Borough Council have added two car parks for people to pre-book for the concerts, and Greater Anglia have announced additional trains.
