An iconic town centre building joins other businesses across town to turn pink ahead of Ed Sheeran's Ipswich gigs. 

The 1975-built Willis Tower Watson has changed the colour of their site by adding pink lights ahead of Suffolk's stars' concerts at Portman Road. 

Ipswich Central have been campaigning to turn the town pink to reflect Sheeran's new album, Play, which features the same bright pink colouring.

The 50-year-old building in Friars Street has put coloured lights to project onto its black film windows, to give the impression that it had turned pink.

Other shops along the Saints, such as James St Peters, The Hidden Garden, Applaud, LoveOne and several other stores have also gone pink.

The pubs owner, Damon Jeffery, previously said: "We will have Ed Sheeran pictures up from when he performed here recently, merchandise on sale, live music with Ed Nearan, a tribute act, performing on Thursday.

"We then have two live music acts every day of the weekend, Ed's lookalike is coming down on Saturday."

Along with this, vacant stores and those with huge windows, such as Cafe Nero in Upper Brook Street, have also added pink welcome home posters.

A 'Hop to it' bunny has also been placed outside Portman Road, donning Ipswich Town's pink kit.
