Two cyclists from Shotley Gate have raised nearly £7,000 for charity by riding from London to Paris.
Sarah Webb and Lynn Harbottle completed the four-day challenge as part of a group of more than 100 cyclists.
They were fundraising for Action Medical Research.
It took them four days to complete the challenge. (Image: Supplied) Ms Harbottle, who began cycling in 2019, said: "The training up to the event was hard but we both enjoyed it.
"The organisation and team spirit made the whole experience one to remember.
"Riding the peloton through Paris was special.
"The French love cycling and, with the Tour de France due through Paris the next day, they greeted us all with cheers.
"It was quite emotional."
Ms Webb has been cycling for many years.
Ms Harbottle added: "It was a once-in-a-lifetime event and we both loved doing it."
