A restaurant in Ipswich has lowered its asking price for the second time in four months.
Great Colman Street Kitchen, formerly Bar A-Z has lowered its asking price from £97,500 to £75,000, almost half of the original asking price of £130,000 when the restaurant went on sale in June.
The 150-seater Italian restaurant began trading in February after the previous business at the, Bar A to Z was forced to sell food and reduce its opening hours by order of Suffolk Police.
After its revamp, the management had hoped to reshape the venue, bringing in a "fresh start".
An advertisement saying the premises is available by way of an existing lease until 2032 for £130,000 was seen earlier this year, but was lowered to £97,500 within a few weeks of being listed.
The venue is only the second in Ipswich to offer more than 150 seats, and can take up to 485 people.
The management had hoped that, given the site's close proximity to Carr Street, it would catch the eye of visitors to the town centre.
