A Halloween-themed day of arts, crafts and science experiments brought spooky fun to siblings.

The event, organised by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), welcomed 23 children.

The children, who are either bereaved or have a brother or sister receiving care at the hospice, spent the day making slime, enjoying a Halloween film and taking part in hands-on science activities.

Kelly Evans, groups and events co-ordinator, The Treehouse, said: "It gives the siblings an opportunity to be in a safe space, with children experiencing similar situations and having the support of each other and staff, as well as getting to participate in fun activities and days out."

There was a science party featuring dry ice experiments and the Elephant’s Toothpaste demonstration, which uses hydrogen peroxide to create foaming reactions.

The event was the final sibling gathering of 2025.

Ms Evans said: "Being able to hold these events is so important.

"Although this was our last one of 2025, we’re already looking forward to some of the great plans we have in store for 2026."
