A charity has launched a new festive appeal to support people who are homeless and struggling with poverty.
Emmaus Suffolk’s Give a Little Christmas campaign is raising funds to provide meals, warmth and community activities for those facing homelessness, poverty and social isolation this winter.
Tony Chasteauneuf, chief executive, Emmaus Suffolk, said: "At Christmas, it’s easy to take for granted the things that make the season special – good food, company and fun.

"For many people across Suffolk, it is a hard and lonely time of year.
"During the colder months, we see more people turning to us for help and wanting to connect, whether that’s through our supported accommodation, wellbeing hubs or community café.
"Through this appeal, we hope to support more people, share a bit of hope and some festive cheer."
The charity has suggested donations starting from £4.
Supporters can give online or in person at Emmaus Suffolk’s five locations in Ipswich and Felixstowe.
Donors visiting the charity shops can also add a bauble to a giving tree.
