A hair and beauty salon is celebrating after winning its first national award - just two and a half years after opening its doors.
Bosses of Tate Hair and Beauty in Felixstowe Road in Ipswich have said they are "absolutely thrilled" to have won Hairdressing Small Business of the Year at the Small Business Awards this year.
This win comes after they won New Small Business of the Year in 2024 in their first year of business.

The salon opened in May 2023 with sisters Leanne, 34, and Jo Snell, 37, setting up the business, with Leanne running the beauty side of the business and Jo running the hair side.
Leanne said: "We've always dreamt of opening our own salon and within our very first year we were nominated for an award, something we never expected so soon after launching.

"A year later, we were honoured once again with another nomination but this time for a naitonal award, which felt like an even bigger achievement for us.
"We are absolutely thrilled.
"To achieve back-to-back wins in such a short space of time still feels incredible.

"We can't thank our amazing team enough for their constant support and for choosing to be part of Tate. They are the reason we continue to grow and push forward.
"From day one, we have prided ourselves on creating a salon that feels like a community that brings people together.
"We want to thank our clients for their continued support".
They said they believe that "exciting" opportunities for staff and clients will come in the future.
Leanne continued: "We love supporting other small businesses within our space and will always strive to be more than just a salon.
"We truly believe there are even more exciting opportunities ahead and we can't wait for the future."
