A new chief executive has been appointed at a regional charity.

Bruce Leeke will take up the position at Ormiston Families in February, following the retirement of CEO Allan Myatt in the summer of 2025.

Mr Leeke said: "I am delighted to be joining such a highly regarded and impactful charity.

"Ormiston Families supports and enables families and young people across the East of England.

"The diversity and scale of the charity’s services ensure that every year we are positively shaping and changing thousands of lives.

"I look forward to working collaboratively with the board, colleagues, partners, and key stakeholders to build on the many successes of the past few years and grow our impact and reach into the future."

Ormiston Families has its headquarters in Ipswich and works across the East of England in a range of areas including children and young people’s mental health, families affected by imprisonment and families affected by bereavement.

Mr Leeke was previously chief executive of Suffolk Libraries, a role he began in early 2018.
