It is hoped more than 10,000 people will descend on an Ipswich park in April to take part in a world record attempt in aid of charity.
On Saturday, April 11, Hope to Connect is looking to bring together 10,000 people at Trinity Park to break the world record for the largest Human Cancer Awareness Ribbon.
It's being done to form a giant ribbon of love, strength and remembrance with organisers saying: "Whether you're standing in honour of someone you've lost, or showing support for a loved one fighting cancer right now, this is your chance to shine in their colour and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with your community."
Everyone who attends the event will receive an official Hope to Connect World Record attempt participation certificate.
For adults, tickets to participate and enter is £9,95 and for children of 16 years and under it is £4.95 entry and participation. Money will go towards funding the Hope to Connect app, which connects people around the world with cancer through friendships, shared experiences and love.
As well as the world record attempt, there will also be food stalls and local vendors, motorbikes and some classic cars, rides and live music and entertainment.
