A man accused of murdering a young mother had still not entered a plea to the charge.
The accused Paul Stevenson was before Ipswich Crown Court for the first time on Friday morning, appearing remotely from HMP Norwich.
Police were called to Russet Road in the early hours of Tuesday morning after concerns were raised for the welfare of a woman.
When officers arrived, they found the woman unresponsive and she was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. The outcome of a Home Office post-mortem is still determining her cause of death.
The victim has been named as Karlie Sone, also known as Karlie Day, a 28-year-old mother to two children.
Paul Stevenson, of Fletcher Road, Ipswich, appeared at Suffolk Magistrates Court on Thursday morning, speaking only to confirm his name, date of birth and address after being charged with murder.
On Friday, the 39-year-old again spoke only to confirm these details.
Stevenson will next appear for a plea hearing during the week of May 11 this year.
