Pranksters have put up signs in a former shoe store in a bid to make passersby think it was becoming an adult store.
The Shoezone premises at 62 Hamilton Road in Felixstowe closed in January 2025 as the national footwear chain cut outlets across the country and has stood empty ever since.
However, posters have appeared in the windows of the vacant unit stating that a new "Felixstowe Adult Shop" was on its way.
The sign reads: "Opening soon Felixstowe Adult Shop.
"Toys and dress for all occasions. For more details call."

A fictitious phone number is at the bottom of the message.
The property is being marketed through Norwich-based retail property agents Francis Darrah Chartered Surveyors and is listed as available on the agents' website for an annual rent of £28,500.
However, Graham Mackintosh, the agent for the premises, said the town centre unit was not going to become a sex shop.
He said there had been "expressions of interest" in the property, but none proposing a business of that nature.
"There is absolutely no truth in it whatsoever and I will happily go and tear off the posters tomorrow when I show somebody round."
Yellow and black "closing down" signs appeared in the windows of Shoezone in late 2024.
In 2022, the footwear brand closed 63 stores across the country, while in 2023 the shop closed 13 UK outlets as it grappled with the cost-of-living crisis, as well as the COVID-19 pandemic and changes in shopping habits with more people buying goods online rather than in physical shops.
