Further tributes have been paid to a "passionate" mum-of-two who was found dead in a flat in Ipswich a week ago.

Karlie Sone, also known as Karlie Day, was pronounced dead in a home in Russet Road in the early hours of Tuesday morning last week.

Police were called to the address at 1.10am after concerns were raised for the welfare of the 28-year-old.

Officers arrived to find her unresponsive and pronounced her dead shortly afterwards.

Since then, tributes have poured in from the community, friends and family around Ms Sone.

Speaking to the BBC, Jon Parker, the husband of Karlie's stepsister, said: "The one thing that's really come through on my side is how passionate she was as a mother, everybody has just reiterated that to me.

"She loved those two little girls so much and they were her entire reason for being.

"She absolutely loved her music as well.

"You're just in stunned silence, really, when you stand there and read all these beautiful stories and notes, all the flowers, and teddy bears.

"There's such an outpouring of love there, and I think that's what we are left with.

"We are almost uplifted in a way that there are so many people who have a story to share.

"They've gone out of their way to really show how affected they are by this, how loved she is, and present in everybody's thoughts."
