An Ipswich couple who went on their honeymoon courtesy of the Ipswich Star in 1961 will be celebrating their Sapphire Wedding anniversary soon.
Malcolm and Veronica Clements married 65 years ago on April 1, having met through work.
Malcolm, who comes from Colchester, was a chef, while Veronica, who comes from Dublin, was a junior nurse.
Malcolm said: "I was in the kitchen and would deliberately leave food off the trolley which went to the ward so Vera would have to come down to pick it up, then she would tip the milk out so she would have to come down and see me and it went from there."

They were together for four years before they married, and because they were saving up for a house, they didn't have money to go towards the wedding or honeymoon.
But, that's when the Ipswich Star comes into things.
Veronica said: "I enjoy doing puzzles and signing up for competitions, and I saw this.
"I had to send in how we met and we were chosen as the winners."
Malcolm continued: "It was a national competition so we were with other newlyweds from around the country, all going to Jersey for our honeymoon."
It wasn't just the trip that they won, with the prize also including a suit, shoes, luggage and a three-tier wedding cake.
On their 65-year marriage, Malcolm said: "Every 10 years, you move from one stage to another to keep things new.

"We had kids, grandchildren, have a great-grandchild on the way soon, and moved jobs.
"We've had ups and downs, everyone has, but it's been amazing."
When asked about the secret to their long marriage, Malcolm joked, "Listen to the boss".
To celebrate their Sapphire Wedding anniversary, friends and family will be coming to celebrate the pair's long marriage.
