Future plans for a prominent building on the Ipswich Waterfront are yet to be announcement after a restaurant and bar said it would permanently close earlier this year.
The Tented Building, in Helena Road was formerly home to A-Listers at Aurora, until the bar and restaurant closed for good at the start of March following a 'seasonal break' and now lies empty.
A-Listers closed after being in the building since 2023 with the manager Jessica Lucas saying that rising costs and a change in consumer habits had made continuing on unviable.
Ms Lucas said: "Throughout this period, our landlord has been understanding and supportive, working constructively with us as we navigated these challenges."
However, a month on from the closing of A-Listers and no plans for the future of the building have been made public.
The building has not appeared up for sale, an alcohol licence transfer has not taken place nor has planning permission been sought via Ipswich Borough Council.
