There is just under a month to go until a popular fundraising event returns in Ipswich in support of St Elizabeth Hospice.
The Midnight Walk will take place on Saturday, May 16, at Christchurch Park.
Supporters are being encouraged to dress in superhero-themed costumes while completing sponsored walks of six or nine miles.
The event raises vital funds to support the hospice’s end-of-life care services across the area.

One participant taking part this year is Ipswich resident Gemma Holland.
She is walking in tribute to her dad, Terry Holland, who died aged 80 in December 2025 from cancer while under the care of St Elizabeth Hospice.
Gemma will be completing the six-mile route alongside 15 friends under the team name Team Terry.

She said: “I know from volunteering and taking part in previous Midnight Walks what an amazing event it is, and this year will be no different.
“It is a challenge, but the support of fellow walkers and the people who come out to cheer you on carries you through.
“I cannot wait for Midnight Walk 2026.”
