Ngunaiye Kandjiriomuini - commonly known as Roxxy - passed away on April 23 a the age of 26 having been found in her flat off London Road by police.

Her family - left reeling from her sudden passing - are now hoping to raise enough funds to repatriate her body back to Namibia.

Emily Kandjiriomuini, Roxxy's cousin, said: "She was such a very happy person and had a natural happiness that she carried with her when she was around.

"She was so bubbly. She was confident. She always spoke her mind, and she was very faith orientated - she really loved God.

"She was a person that was really positive, a natural motivator. She had a way of uplifting people, of just picking the right words to say. She was very family orientated and was always willing to help."

The family stated they couldn't reach her for more than a week with her not being active on social media - which she normally was.

Emily added: "Police told us to call the hospital to see whether she was admitted, but she hadn't been.

"So we called the police back and they came to her property which is very hard to access.

"They had to break her door and force it open and she was found in her bed with police estimating she had been dead for a week.

"It's a very, very difficult time for me and my family. It's very shocking to all of us.

"We're just trying to support each other as best as we can in this very difficult moment."

No cause of death has been established at the time of writing.

Roxxy - who came to Ipswich aged 14 with Emily - had come from Namibia to receive a better education and life.

She spent years working as a cleaner, carer and volunteering for charities.

Following her death, Emily and the family have set up for GoFundMe to repatriate her body to Namibia which can be visited at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/ngunaiye-roxxy-marenga-kandjiriomuini

She said: "It would be very important to her. That's where she was born. That's where she carries her childhood memories and we truly believe that she wants to be laid there to rest."
