A new fish and chip shop has opened in Ipswich and is already attracting "large crowds".
Mick's Fish and Chips has opened in Spring Road, in the former Barry's Fish & Chips premises, which had stood empty for more than a year.
Just two weeks after opening its doors, the chippy is already attracting large crowds and building an impressive collection of five-star reviews from customers, according to the owners.
They also said that many customers have been waiting for a business to return to the unit.

The reopening follows extensive renovation work and a complete refurbishment of the premises, including the installation of new equipment, a redesigned preparation area and a revamped front-of-house space.
Mick's Fish and Chips already operates four other shops in Suffolk and Essex, including Braintree, Sudbury and Great Cornard, and the business has brought its experience and strong reputation with it to Ipswich.
The arrival of the new takeaway has generated considerable excitement, with many customers saying they are pleased to see the long-empty premises thriving once again.
